Getting Involved - Staying Connected

Effective Corporate Responsibility is often described as the point where priorities of the business, the engagement of employees and the needs of the community intersect.

At Kuehne + Nagel  we foster partnerships with charities and non-profits that connect us directly to people, both local and regional, and find the best fit for our charitable giving and volunteer resources.

Our dedicated employees are able to lend their leadership skills and creative expertise in their own cities, and unlock the potential for success in communities across Canada.

Food Banks of Canada

Our Employees country-wide generously donate to their local food banks through initiatives in each office. And to inspire everyone in their efforts, we send out volunteer groups to the Mississauga Food Bank to help sort items in their distribution centre.

Toys for Tots

For many years, our employees have been creating mountains of toys and raising funds for charities that ensure everyone can celebrate during the holiday season.

Tree planting and spring clean-up

The environment is important to us! Our hardworking teams in Ontario take part in annual spring clean up and tree planting programs. These are wonderful events that not only help the community, but give the families of our employees an opportunity to participate as well.

The Children's Book Bank

A visit to The Children’s Book Bank in Toronto is much like a visit to a favourite bookstore, except the books are free of charge.  With books available for kids up to 12 years of age, families are welcome to stop by as often as they wish and every child is permitted to take and keep one book per visit.

Habitat for Humanity Canada

2014 marks our first build with Habitat for Humanity Canada. We look forward to many more in the future!

Children's Wish Foundation

We have been lucky enough to grant a few wishes over the years and participate in some great team-building events for Children's Wish.

Stop Hunger Now

As part of an initiative through the HIPO team, employees in numerous locations raised enough money for a food packaging event.
